Sasha is a 4th year commerce student at the University of Sydney where she is the Immediate Past President of the Sydney University Liberal Club. Sasha is a passionate advocate for Voluntary Student Unionism, having helped run the ALSF's Stop Student Taxes campaign. Her policy interests include education, foreign affairs and national security. In her spare time Sasha likes to play tennis, ski and spend time with her friends.

Robert Langdon
Rob is currently studying his fourth year of Law and International Relations at La Trobe University. He is the Immediate Past President of the La Trobe University Liberal Club. His policy interests include taxation law, industrial relations and foreign affairs. In his spare time Rob likes to watch football (soccer), play poker and hang out with his mates.

Tom White
Tom is studying Law/Arts at the University of Western Australia and is the UWA Liberal Club?s Immediate Past President and current President of the Western Australian Union of Liberal Students. In 2009, Tom managed the Liberty campaign that, for the first time in many years, secured a significant Liberal voice on the UWA Guild Council. Tom likes the Constitution, the free market and watching sport, and is not fond of the ever-growing nanny state.

John Shipp
John is a 4th year Political Science student at Melbourne University. Apart from being ALSF Treasurer, he is also President of the Melbourne University Liberal Club and an office bearer in the University of Melbourne Student Union. In 2009, John was Campaign Manager for the successful coalition that ended years of left-wing dominance at the University of Melbourne.

Laney McLaren
Laney is a 3rd year Environmental Management and Arts (Econ) Student studying at the University of Queensland. She is the President of the UQ Liberal Club, the Vice President of the UQ Student Union, and is the campaign manager for the highly successful FRESH election ticket.
Her policy interests are agricultural and environmental policy. In her spare time Laney enjoys good red wine and the Queensland sunshine.

Sam Jackson-Hope
Sam is a third year Commerce student studying at the Australian National University. As well as sitting on the ALSF Executive, he is currently the Policy Convenor of the ANU Liberal Club and in previous years has run on and actively supported student election tickets that emphasise competition, personal responsibility and individual choice.
Outside of politics, Sam enjoys watching sport and going out with his?mates. |
