A Good-win in Pembroke

Tue 11 Aug 2009

During ALSF Federal Council 2009, delegates offered their support to Liberal candidate for Pembroke, Vanessa Goodwin. Liberal students helped distribute flyers in the division and their enthusiasm helped generate media interest for Vanessa.

In a field of eight candidates, Vanessa achieved 38.54% of the primary vote. Today, after a distribution of preferences, Vanessa has been elected with a total of 10,143 votes.

ABC election analyst, Antony Green, was confident to call the result within an hour of booths closing.

Thank you to all members who helped campaign for Vanessa!
